Welcome all railroaders, train enthusiasts, and lego engineers!
In 2010, this channel started under the name of Crazytaxi1000 Productions, soon changing to Golden Rails Media producing videos of lego trains and railroad operations for the enjoyment of train enthusiasts.

Custom LEGO GP35 Locomotive Test Run
Lego Montana Rail Link GP35 on the far from complete LEGO table. This MOC is a 6-wide model, unlike many of the 7 or 8 wide trains many others have been making. It was extremely difficult to cram so much detail into a 6-wide! This lego locomotive is equipped with a Soundtrax Blunami decoder. This enables the train to be operated by an app on my iPhone, and enables capabilities such as lighting and sound effects. Parts to start the Lego SD70ACe and GP9 just arrived, so stay tuned!

MRL GP35 405 operating on the R-Y Timber line in Livingston, MT in July 2022. Since then, a massive fire tore through the facility, ceasing all operations to the lumber yard.

Montana Rail Link local train! First shot shows a local running over the Bozeman Pass. The rest of the video is a daily run of the local from Livingston Depot to RY timber to swap out three centerbeam cars, then running back to the depot caboose first. Enjoy! Thanks for watching! The third annual Turkey Horn Honk. This year, there was a large collection of K5LA's. Between two horn rigs, we conducted tons of runbys with Nathan K5LA's, K5L's, RS5T and S5T's, an RS3K, an M3, and a P5, several of which are included in the video. In early August of 2017, Montana Rail Link ran a passenger train for the railroad executives and staff. The train contained vintage railcars from various fallen flag railroads, pulled by a Montana Rail Link SD40-2.
